FAQ

One-click apps questions

What are one-click apps?

Pre-configured app templates that install with one click. The app, its dependencies and its database are set up for you, so you can start using it in minutes. App Platform has 300+ templates.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan costs €0.00 and runs up to 3 apps on 1 CPU core, 512 MB memory and 1 GB storage, with 327 templates, Git deploys and databases.

How much do the paid plans cost?

Starter costs €9.99/month for up to 20 apps, and Pro €19.99/month for up to 100 apps. Yearly billing costs about 10 months, so you get two months free.

How much CPU, memory and storage do I get?

Free: 1 core, 512 MB memory, 1 GB storage. Starter: 1 core, 1 GB, 10 GB. Pro: 2 cores, 4 GB, 25 GB.

Which apps can I deploy?

327 templates on Free and 331 on Starter and Pro, including WordPress, n8n, Ghost, GitLab, Gitea, Jenkins, Laravel and PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB and Redis.

Can I deploy my own code?

Yes, on every plan. Deploy from GitHub or GitLab, build from a Dockerfile, or run a Docker Compose project.

Can I host a Node.js app?

Yes. Add a Dockerfile to your Node.js project and deploy it from GitHub or GitLab. The same works for Python, PHP and any app that runs in a container.

Is it free Docker hosting?

The Free plan runs up to 3 apps, including your own Dockerfile and Docker Compose projects. For more apps, Starter and Pro raise the limit.

Is App Platform an alternative to Heroku?

Yes. Like Heroku, it deploys apps from Git and runs them for you, and it adds one-click templates for open-source apps and a free plan.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Add a custom domain to any app and it is served over HTTPS.

Do I need to know how to manage a server?

No. Templates handle installation and configuration. If you want full control of a server instead, see VPS hosting.

Can I start free and upgrade later?

Yes. Start on Free, then move to Starter or Pro when you need to run more apps.
