What is business email hosting?
A paid service that runs email for your own domain, such as [email protected]. Cloudoora hosts the mailboxes; you read and send mail through webmail or a mail app.
Can I use my own domain with Cloudoora?
Yes. Every plan runs on a domain you own and can configure for email. Cloudoora does not register domains, so you will need one from a domain registrar. The domain setup guide explains the DNS records.
Do I need website hosting to use Cloudoora email hosting?
No. This is a standalone email service. Your website, if you have one, can stay with any host.
How much does Cloudoora business email hosting cost?
Monthly prices are €0.99 for Basic, €1.49 for Standard, €2.99 for Business and €5.49 for Pro. Yearly billing costs €9.99, €14.99, €29.99 and €54.99, about 10 months of the monthly price. There is no setup fee.
How many email accounts are included in each plan?
Basic includes 5 mailboxes, Standard 10, Business 25 and Pro 50.
Is storage shared across email accounts?
Yes. Storage belongs to the plan and is shared by all its mailboxes: 5 GB on Basic, 10 GB on Standard, 25 GB on Business and 50 GB on Pro. It is not a per-mailbox allowance.
Can I access my email through webmail and email applications?
Yes. Use webmail in your browser, or add your mailboxes to a compatible mail app such as a desktop or phone client using IMAP or POP3 for incoming mail and SMTP for sending.
What are IMAP, POP3 and SMTP?
IMAP keeps your mail on the server and syncs it across devices. POP3 downloads mail to one device. SMTP is the protocol your mail app uses to send messages.
What are SPF, DKIM and DMARC?
SPF lists the servers allowed to send mail for your domain. DKIM adds a signature that proves a message was not changed. DMARC tells receiving servers how to handle mail that fails those checks. Our deliverability guide explains how they work together.
