How it works
Transfer a domain in four steps.
01Check that the domain can move
The domain must be active, not expired or in redemption, and at least 60 days past its registration or last transfer.

02Unlock it at your current registrar
Turn off the setting called Transfer Lock, Registrar Lock or Domain Lock. See how domain lock works.

03Get the EPP code
Ask your current registrar for the authorization code, also called the EPP, auth or transfer code, and enter it when you start the transfer with us.

04Approve the transfer
Confirm the transfer email sent to the domain's contact address. The domain moves once both registrars finish, with a year added.

Transfer from Namecheap
In Namecheap's Domain List, click Manage next to the domain, open Sharing and Transfer, turn off Domain Lock and request the Auth Code. Namecheap emails it to you.
Transfer from Google Domains or Squarespace
Google Domains moved to Squarespace. In Squarespace, open the domain, unlock it and get the authorization code from the transfer settings.
Transfer from your hosting company
At Bluehost, Hostinger and most other hosts, look for Transfer Lock or Registrar Lock and EPP or Auth Code in the domain's management page.

How do I transfer my domain to Cloudoora?
Unlock the domain at your current registrar, get its EPP authorization code, then start the transfer in your Cloudoora account and enter the code. Approve the confirmation email and the transfer completes.
How much does a domain transfer cost?
It depends on the extension. A .com transfer costs €11.11 and includes one year added to the registration; it then renews at €11.48 a year. See all domain prices.
Is a domain transfer free?

What is an EPP code?
An EPP code, also called an authorization, auth or transfer code, is a password for your domain. Your current registrar gives it to you, and it proves you own the domain when you transfer it.
How long does a domain transfer take?
Usually 5 to 7 days for .com and other generic extensions. It can be faster if you approve the transfer at your current registrar. Some country extensions take longer.

Usually not. A transfer changes which registrar manages the domain. If your nameservers and DNS records stay the same, your website and email keep working.
Can I transfer a domain I registered recently?
Usually not right away. Generic extensions such as .com cannot be transferred for 60 days after a registration or a previous transfer.
Do I lose the time left on my registration?
No, for generic extensions the remaining time carries over and the transfer adds a year on top.
Why can't I transfer my domain?
